Private View Friday 4 May 6.30 – 8.30 In the ArtSpace at Cambridge Artworks
Over the first weekend in May, Richard Baker will be exhibiting a selection of his paintings and drawings in the ArtSpace. Richard is a figurative artist based in Cambridge, and has been showing his work locally for over thirty years, with several one-man and group exhibitions in various galleries. He has been a member of the Cambridge Drawing Society since 1983. He has been a regular gallery artist with the Linda Blackstone Gallery since 2000, frequently represented by that gallery at art fairs, including the Affordable Art Fair and the Watercolour and Drawings Fair (both in London). Richard intends the exhibition to be lively, entertaining and varied, and will include older items not exhibited before as well as new work. He will be at the exhibition during the time it is open and looks forward to meeting visitors and talking about his methods and materials.
