Alison O’Neill works in drawing and video using autobiographical narratives as a starting point. Her work explores memory, remembering and subjectivity. Alison is particularly interested in maternal subjectivity at the intersection of class and gender.
Her work was shortlisted for the Birth Rites Collection Award and was exhibited at Project Afterbirth, both in 2015. Alison was selected for Brood Film Festival in 2016 and is an associate artist at DIEP. (Digital Institute for Early Parenthood)
